SESAM 2023 Annual Conference

We are at SESAM 2023 with oral presentation “Stage Debriefing in Simulation Training in Medical Education for Competencies Formation”.

ClinCaseQuest team had a great opportunity during the 28th annual conference of the SESAM – Society for Simulation in Europe SESAM 2023 in Lisbon to share our experience of building a staged debriefing embedded in simulation scenarios based on the principle of adaptive learning for asynchronous online trainings in clinical case simulators for competence formation.

We have demonstrated what would happen if the concept of the classical model of debriefing was changed, highlighted two approaches that we actively use for this, and talked about the benefits of facilitation for our learners and coordinators of simulation trainings and team leaders.

We are very grateful for the inclusion of our experience in the scientific program of the conference!
