ClinCaseQuest presented the first experience of analyzing branching simulation logs based on artificial intelligence at the “Medical Simulation: A Look into the Future” Conference
ClinCaseQuest is pleased to share our participation in the scientific and practical conference “Medical Simulation: A Look into the Future”, held at Bukovinian State Medical University.
During the conference, we presented our experience in implementing artificial intelligence technologies for the analysis of branching simulation logs within the ClinCaseQuest simulation-based learning platform.
The presentation highlighted how:
🔴 large volumes of simulation performance data
🟠 can be transformed using AI
🟢 into structured, valid, and scalable analytics of clinical reasoning – supporting both individual feedback and group-level assessment.
We sincerely thank all participants of the multicenter study – medical students from Kyiv Medical University and Bukovinian State Medical University – who took part in the pilot experiment 🧑⚕️👨⚕️👩⚕️.
Special thanks to the educators who supported this research and helped organize the educational and research process: Iryna Avramenko Iryna Avramenko, MD, PhD; Mariia Yartseva, MD, PhD; Tetiana Antofiichuk Tetiana Antofiichuk, MD, PhD.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Tetiana Zaikina, MD, PhD, the author of the clinical scenario (Clinical case simulator “An interrupted symphony” that formed the basis for the first detailed AI-based analysis of clinical simulation logs.
We strongly believe that such approaches represent an important step toward safer healthcare and more data-informed, reflective medical education.
